Our History – Westside Anglican Church

May 2000
Jurong Christian Centre & Bukit Batok Christian Centre came together to worship at Golden Village Theatre / Oasis Room, which were located within Jurong Point in Boon Lay.

March 2003
Jurong Christian Centre & Bukit Batok Christian Centre officially merged to form one new Anglican church: Westside Anglican Church (WAC).

October 2003
WAC moved to German Centre at the International Business Park in Jurong East, and also developed our Mission Statement – Strengthening Families, Impacting Communities.

October 2006
WAC’s Children’s Ministry was named Children In Action (CIA).

February 2007
WAC’s Youth Ministry name changed from Youth Fusion to Destiny Impact (DI).

August 2007
WAC moved to West Coast Recreation Centre, a leisure hub that used to be located at Clementi/West Coast but has since been demolished.

September 2019
WAC moved to Bestway Centre at Science Centre Road.

January 2022
WAC became a Community Partner of St Andrew’s Mission School.

July 2022
WAC moved to St John’s – St Margaret’s Church (Dover Road) to share the use of their premises.

August 2023
WAC moved to St Andrew’s Mission School in Bukit Batok.
